Ladgroup Limited is the foremost exporter of Sheanuts in Nigeria. Ladgroup has a Vegetable Oil Processing Factory nearing completion at Ikenne-Remo in Ogun State. This factory when commissioned will ‘pioneer the value addition to Sheanuts on a commercial scale primarily for the export market providing direct and indirect employment to numerous Nigerians and contributing towards increasing the non-oil export earnings of the nation.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Solvent Extract Plant Operators

Location: Ikenne, Ogun
Employment Type: Full Time

Duties & Responsibilities

• Tends solvent extraction equipment that extracts oil from rice bran, soybeans, and cottonseeds.
• Observes temperature and steam pressure gauges, flowmeters & ammeters and turns valves or hand wheels to regulate temperature flow of material in equipment within specified limits.
• Tests samples of material for conformity to plant standards, using scales, moisture meter and hydrometer, or by titration.
• Records indicator readings test results.
• May clean filter plates of extractor.

Abilities

• Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, organization rules, and the democratic political process.
• Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
• Manage own time and the time of others.

Job Qualifications

• OND / B.Sc. in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering
• Must be familiar with Electrical and Mechanical systems
• Should have good communication skills.
• Minimum of 5 years experience.
• Thorough knowledge of the proper operation and maintenance of steam boiler is required
