Special Assistant to the Chief Executive

The firm plays a leading role in providing management consulting services targeted at clients in key sectors of the economy (Power, Oil & Gas, Financial Services and Manufacturing, etc), in Africa.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Special Assistant to the Chief Executive
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• The Special Assistant will be assigned the following primary responsibilities, among others:
• Handle special assignments and projects assigned by the CEO
• Manage the CEO’s internal meetings by co-ordinating minutes, reports and followups
• Conducting or preparing any research that the CEO may require
• Produce reports, presentations and briefs
• Other ad hoc requests by the CEO
• Act as the point of contact between the CEO and internal managers and external parties
• Manage the calendar and schedule meetings and appointments
• Organising travel and itineraries

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in the Business Sciences with a 2:1 or first class from a top-tier university
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar role
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Discretion and confidentiality
• Work experience in a professional and best-practice office environment
• Strong affinity for technology
• A global mindset
• Competence with office management systems and procedures
