Job Title: Human Resources Assistant

Location: Jabi, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

  • We are seeking a proactive and organized HR Assistant to support daily human resources operations and ensure smooth administrative processes across the company.
  • The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, people-focused, and able to handle confidential information professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recruitment process: posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide timely HR support.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and HR procedures.
  • Support payroll preparation with accurate attendance and data entry.
  • Assist the HR Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks and special projects.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and orientation.
  • Maintain and update staff records, attendance, and HR databases.
  • Prepare HR letters, memos, reports, and documentation.
  • Assist in managing employee welfare, leave requests, and performance tracking.
  • Coordinate training sessions, staff meetings, and HR-related activities.

Requirements

  • OND / HND qualification / B.Sc Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Jabi, Abuja.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in HR or administrative roles.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred (Added Advantage):

  • Understanding of HR laws, recruitment tools, or HR software.
  • Experience in a structured HR department.

Salary
N150,000 / Month.
