Store Officer at an Indigenous Oil & Gas Servicing Company

DNA Learning Solutions - Our client, an indigenous oil & gas servicing company based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Store Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Do periodical update of inventory in the warehouse and communicate same to concerned users.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the warehouse and ensure proper stacking and palletizing of goods.
• Ensure the store requisition form is signed by the person collecting the goods and entered into the Inventory/Materials Management System.
• Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs.
• Do periodical update of equipment in the warehouse and communicate same to concerned users.
• To report cases of all near misses and anomalies recorded at the warehouse
• Responsible to verify all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and agreed quantity has been received.
• Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the management or supervisors.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a warehouse/inventory/store officer in Oil and Gas is compulsory
• Inventory management and analytical skills.
• Ability to understand basic technical details is key
• Good communication and writing skills.

Salary
N150,000 - N180,000 / month.
