Job Title: Storekeeper

Job Summary

• The Senior Storekeeper will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and equipment. In addition to storekeeping responsibilities, this role involves assisting with procurement needs. The individual will implement organizational systems, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the efficient receipt and storage of incoming materials and equipment.
• Adhere strictly to safety and security protocols in the storage area.
• Implement and enforce safety measures to prevent accidents, damage, or loss of inventory.
• Ensure the safekeeping of all site tools and machinery.
• Ensure accurate labeling, designated storage, and organization for easy retrieval.
• Implement and maintain an efficient organizational system for stored items.
• Issue materials to site engineers and other personnel as per requisitions.
• Keep detailed and up-to-date records of inventory levels and transactions.
• Utilize inventory management systems (SAGE X3) to track stock movements and update records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in storekeeping or procurement is a plus.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient in using computer applications for inventory management and record-keeping.
• Assist with procurement needs as required, including liaising with suppliers and maintaining procurement records.
• Knowledge of various inventory management systems software, with proficiency in SAGE X3 preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to maintain efficient store operations.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with site engineers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Salary
N100,000 - N180,000 monthly.
