We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical Advisor

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Technical Advisor will be mainly involved in installing and repairing electrical wiring, diagnosing problems with vehicle electrical systems, repairing damaged electrical parts, and maintaining electrical equipment for vehicles

Requirements
Qualifications:

• A minimum OND qualification, an HND qualification in automotive or electrical engineering.
• 5 years of demonstrable experience with automobiles. Experience in the automotive industry will be an added advantage.

Diagnostic Skills:

• Proficiency in utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify and troubleshoot issues with vehicles.
  Ability to interpret diagnostic codes and analyse data obtained from onboard computer systems.

Expertise in Electrical Systems:

• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, including the interpretation of wiring diagrams and conducting component testing.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues, such as faulty wiring or malfunctioning sensors.

Mechanical Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension.

Technical:

• MUST be very skilled and experienced in using digital diagnostic tools and software in detecting and rectifying electrical and software auto issues.
• A good team player and eye for detail
• Problem Solving/Analysis and troubleshooting skill
• Strategic thinking and strong execution skills.
• Extensive knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems
• An analytical mind with problem-solving skills

Non-Technical:

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication - written, verbal and presentation skills
• Competent in team building, planning and decision making

Key Competencies:

• Electrical Maintenance, Fault Finding, and Electrical Repairs skills
• Maintenance & Repair knowledge in automotive electrical systems
• Attention to detail and safety standards in electrical work
• Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills in diagnosing electrical issues
• Ability to analyze and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documents
• Relevant certification or vocational training in automotive electrical systems

Salary
N300,000 - N500,000 / Month
