About the Role

• We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our team.
• The successful candidate will assist clients with a variety of travel needs, including planning and booking flights, hotels, transportation, vacation packages, and providing expert visa services.
• As a Travel Consultant, you will offer customized travel advice, create tailored itineraries, and guide clients through visa applications for destinations like the USA, Schengen countries, the UK, and study visas.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients in planning and booking domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, car rentals, and activities.
• Provide personalized travel advice and create customized itineraries based on clients' preferences.
• Address client inquiries, issues, and changes, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.
• Upsell additional services, including travel insurance, tours, and special experiences.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, visa applications, and transactions.
• Follow up with clients post-travel for feedback and maintain long-term relationships.
• Handle visa application processes for clients traveling to the USA, Schengen countries, the UK, and those requiring study visas.
• Use travel booking systems and software to secure the best travel deals.
• Offer expert recommendations on travel destinations and visa requirements.
• Collaborate with airlines, hotels, and tour operators to provide comprehensive travel solutions.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or related fields (preferred).
• Certifications in Travel Consultancy or Visa Processing (e.g., IATA certification) are a plus.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Travel Consultant or similar role, with knowledge of visa application processes for the USA, Schengen countries, UK, and study visas.
• Proficiency with travel booking systems (e.g., GDS like Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and CRM software.
• Effective time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills to handle travel and visa-related issues.
• Passion for travel and helping clients achieve smooth travel and visa processing.
• Strong understanding of visa regulations and travel industry trends.
• Excellent customer service skills, with attention to detail.

Salary / Benefits

• Salary Range: N50,000 - N100,000 / month
