We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Transport Quality Controller Location: Nigeria Job Type: Contracts Job Nature: Resident Job Descriptions

  • Ensure proper inspection before acceptance from vendors of all vehicles (company-owned and leased)
  • Inspect all vehicles (company owned and leased) after visiting a workshop for repair and document the report of such.
  • Ensure that only suitable vehicles in good condition are deployed for service.
  • Ensure that all Drivers have the required license for the type of vehicle being operated.
  • Evaluate and keep records/report of vehicle maintenance and servicing.
  • Carryout quarterly inspection/audit of operational vehicles in the fleet.
  • Report any hazard, accident and damage or defect in order that remedial action may be undertaken.
  • Report to the scene of any motor vehicle incident and prepare preliminary incident report and notification in Synergi.
  • Participate in transportation risk assessment process and motor vehicle incident investigation
  • Prepare detailed reports of incident investigation.
  • Follow up all preventive/corrective actions of Road Transport Accident(s) to closure.
  • Ensure monthly download of DIMS and compile the reports.
  • Suggest ways of improving Drivers’ professionalism and vehicle quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environment regulations and policies relating to Transport.
  • Facilitate the monthly operational drivers’ safety forum.
  • Facilitate weekly drivers’ education/awareness (for all logistics and security drivers).
  • Carryout maintenance system audit of vehicle service providers.
  • Monitor company operational drivers’ Defensive Driving Course (DDC) Training and report attendance/ performance of the drivers.
  • Participate in the pre-qualification assessment of vendors for driving monitors installation.
  • Ensure that the HSE requirements contained in the Land Transport Management System are complied with.
  • Carryout any other duty/projects that may be assigned to him/her by the hierarchy
Job Requirements
  • National Diploma or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline.
  • Familiarity with HSE rules and regulations
  • At least five years’ experience is required

  • Operate equipment and wells by applying operating and safety procedures and guidelines to meet daily operational plan, reduce equipment failure and efficient resources administration
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Active participation on emergency response activities
  • Report incidents internally and escalate awareness as per the Incident Reporting Guidelines
  • Ensure that Operations Shift Supervisor is informed and consulted about operations activities
  • Ensure good communication across the work team so that issues / actions can be adequately addressed
  • Provide the basic facts concerning well producing problems, current production rates, and current condition of the well
  • Ensure that the well problem diagnostics are thorough and complete before requesting Well Work intervention operations
  • Ensure that the wellhead and well surface equipment are maintained and are in good working order prior to
  • Wellwork operations taking over responsibility for the well for intervention operations
  • Provide assistance and support to the ongoing Wellwork operations as needed
  • Responsible to implement on daily work objectives, housekeeping, safety, health, environmental and security
  • Active participation on daily toolbox meetings and regular, reported safety meetings
  • Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions by the continuous surveillance of wells and equipment to ensure reliable, efficient and safe operational conditions
  • Function as Equipment Care Technician, and routinely use Maintenance skills in performing simple maintenance activities
  • Report when the alarm, emergency or emergency shutdown system is out of service
  • Provide detailed, clear and accurate information when changing shift, to guarantee that unit conditions are updated and ensure operations continuity
  • Coordinate, control and monitor maintenance jobs according with the corrective, predictive and preventive planning
  • Report continuously in the log book all relevant operational events and abnormal situations or deviation occurred in the work area, equipment or personnel
  • Take samples of products for laboratory analysis and execute field laboratory tests
Job Requirements
  • Completed Secondary Education and worked previously as a Field Technician.
  • Understanding of Project Philosophy and Design Specifications
  • Understanding of relevant regulations
  • Understanding of relevant commercial agreements
  • TTC Apprenticeship Program graduates is a must
  • Previous experience as operations technician in Oil & Gas facilities, preferably any ExxonMobil facility.
  • Good communications (oral & written)
  • High standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others.
  • Understanding of pipeline operations
  • Understanding of safety and operations management tools and processes
  • Understanding of Emergency Preparedness Procedures
    Job Title: Radar/Radio Operator Location: Nigeria Category: Others Job Type: Contracts Job Nature: Rotation status: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off (B2B). Description The Radar /Radio Operator will be responsible for the surveillance monitoring of the maritime situations in and around the OML 130 Field. He reports to the Maritime Security Advisor/Port Facility Security Officer/Marine Ops Manager while carrying out the following duties:
  • Maintain all round radar surveillance of the common Field 10Nm radius of the FPSO
  • Monitor the field security layout under the responsibility of the OIM/RSES
  • Observe and report the Maritime traffic situations around the field
  • Provide appropriate challenge and response for effective security interventions
  • Monitor and assign sporting sectors for effective security cover and patrols
  • Operates the radio link between the shore/air/sea and the FPSO,
  • Perform radio watch, and ensures transmittals of ingoing and outgoing messages
  • Monitor helicopter arrival/despatch operations to/from base station and metrological information
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the MSA/PFSO
  • Operate the surveillance radar and perform 12 hourly radar watch (2 watch system)
  • Maintain periodic radio checks with the security boats and working vessels in the field
  • Direct incoming and outgoing traffics through assigned sector of approaches
  • Maintain accurate log of Maritime situations and interventions in the field.
  • Take active part in the field security drills and exercises
  • Operates the communication equipment when required (ex: emergency),
  • Stand by radio, emission of outgoing messages, as instructed by the Marine Superintendent/MOM
  • Liaises with helicopter(s) and all field vessels’ spread,
  • Receives and communicates to the MOM and/or Marine Superintendent any incoming messages related to their area of operations,
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Marine Superintendent/MOM.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum three years of experience as a radio/radar operator
  • Radar/ARPA/AIS Training with excellent operating experience (Priority)
  • Maritime experience will be an advantage
  • GMDSS General Operators Certificate is desirable
  • CAA Radio Operators Certificate or Equivalent (VHF Air band Operator)
  • CAA Offshore Meteorological Observer Certificate or equivalent is an advantage,
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel software,
  • Good BOSIET and Medical Certificate
  • Language: English.
