Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Van Sales Representative to drive sales and product distribution within the alcoholic beverage sector.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, ensuring market penetration, managing customer relationships, and executing route-to-market plans effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute daily van sales operations, including loading, delivery, and sales of alcoholic beverages to retail outlets, bars, and restaurants.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and ensure consistent revenue growth across designated routes.
  • Accurately record daily sales activities, stock levels, and customer feedback.
  • Manage cash collections, account reconciliations, and ensure prompt remittance.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide relevant market intelligence to the sales manager.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, responsible alcohol marketing guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure brand loyalty and repeat business.
  • Ensure proper merchandising, visibility, and placement of products at customer outlets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND / NCE qualification; a B.Sc. or HND is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in van sales within the alcoholic beverage industry.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate sales vans effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle field challenges professionally.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent knowledge of sales routes and retail distribution in assigned areas.

Salary Range
N300,000 – ₦700,000
