Job Title: Warehouse Assistant

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are looking to employ a Warehouse Assistant who will beresponsible for the overall warehouse operation activities - loading, unloading, moving and storing customer product in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Ensures customers’ orders are complete and on time – the right quantities in the right place at the right time.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain inventory by conducting, daily, weekly and monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data into the system.
  • Pack and prepare orders for delivery; load vehicles; schedule and oversee deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Maintain accurate filling records (both manually and electronically) of all inventory report, stock take, delivery notes and waybills.
  • Prepare requisitions for needed materials to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Carry out regular review of the warehouse operation to ensure that all products are stored safely
  • Prepare and submit variety of reports and logs to management
  • Co-ordinate inventory transfers from the Headquarter Warehouse to other branch(es) as directed by management.
  • Observe health and safety standards; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition and ensure general upkeep of warehouse, including regular maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Train employees, including orientation training, and training as required on use of equipment, health and safety, processes and customer service
  • Develop good working relationships with those on your team, as well as in other departments.
  • Be accountable to the customer for both quality and quantity of product that leaves the warehouse
  • Maintain storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements to management.
  • Oversee security by ensuring that the warehouse is kept secured at all times, putting on all security appliances (i.e access control, alarms etc) at the appropriate times

Salary
N80,000 monthly.
