Job Title: Web Designer

Job Description

Creating website designs.
Producing sample sites.
Meeting with clients to discuss requirements and/or project progress.
Demonstrating and receiving feedback about draft sites.
Keeping up to date with recent technological and software developments.
Developing skills and expertise in appropriate software/programming languages such as HTML and Javascript.
Creating products that are user-friendly, effective and appealing.
Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients.
Working with different content management systems.
Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
Designing sample pages including colors and fonts.
Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.
Digital retouching and image editing.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients.
Testing and improving the design of the website.
Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
