Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Bursar in Yaba College of Technology.
Job Title: Bursar
DUTIES The
Bursar shall be the Chief Financial Officer of the polytechnic and be
responsible to the Rector for the day to day administration and control
of the financial affairs ofthe polytechnic.
QUALIFICATION The prospective applicant must:
- Hold a good honours degree or HND in Accountancy or Finance from
recognized institution of higher learning with a professional
accountancy qualification.
- Present evidence of Community Service.
- He/She should possess evidence of sound human relations,
professional competence, industry, integrity, efficient management of
human, financial and material resources.
- Candidates should not be above 55 years.
- Have at least Eighteen (18) years post qualification cognate
experience, plus registration with ICAN, ANAN or any other recognized
professional accounting body.
- Present evidence of Physical and Medical fitness (from a Government Hospital).
- Be proficient in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) packages and accounting softwares.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT/CONDITION OF SERVICE The Bursar: a.
Shall hold office for a period of five years in the first instance and
on such terms and conditions as may be specified in his letter of
appointment.
b. May be re-appointed for a further period of five years and no more.
