Production Manager Duties & Responsibilities

The role and function of a Production Manager includes the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Create a production schedule.
  • Train new employees.
  • Determining quality control standards
  • Purchase the required materials.
  • Ensure that health and safety protocols are adhered to.
  • Organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
  • Liaison with buyers, marketing and sales staff
  • Discuss budget expectations with clients.
  • Supervising the work of junior staff.
