Radiologist Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

The following common skills and qualifications are required of a Radiologist:

Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
x years’ internship and residency training, specializing in radiology.
Valid and active medical license.
Proficient in general radiology techniques, including X-ray, MRI, and ultrasound.
Patient management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Superb problem-solving skills.
