The U.S. Consulate in Lagos is
seeking to employ a suitable and qualified candidate for the position of
Foreign Service National Investigator (FSNI) in the Regional Security
Office (RSO).
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:The
incumbent assist the Senior FSN Investigator in conducting background
investigations of employees and contractors. S/he assists with special
investigations; maintains police liaison and performs security functions
as assigned.

- Completion of two to three years of general university or college studies is required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of progressively responsible experience in

- Level III (Good working knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing in Hausa, Igbo or Yoruba language is required.
- Must have knowledge of the principles and techniques of investigation.
- Must possess ability to maintain extensive contacts with officials of various local agencies including the Police.
- Must possess a valid Nigerian driving license.

Bodyguard (2 Positions) in Regional Security Office in Abuja (RSO).
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:The
Bodyguards are responsible for providing a safe and secure environment
for the conduct of foreign policy. They are responsible for protecting
Chief of Mission (COM) personnel and official visitors from physical
harm and embarrassment.

- Must be able to maintain situation awareness and conduct counter-surveillance to enhance post’s off-compound security posture.
