Job Description

  • A reputable Financial Institution is in need of the Group Head, to ensure customer satisfaction and drive business development for the group. As the Group Head, you will ensure a healthy balance sheet in order to achieve/exceed set PBT for the group. You will be reporting to the Divisional Head Commercial Banking. 
Job Responsibilities
Please note the following details as it relates to the job role:
  • Provide overall leadership/direction and continually enhance team performance in various Hubs within the group to achieve quality customer service delivery
  • Mobilize revenue for the Group
  • Coordinate execution of sales plan by customer segment and product for the group
  • Manage the Group sales pipeline deals and identify additional methods of improving performance.
  • Manage the Groups' sales KPI and coordinate sales staff in various hubs with respective tasks, responsibilities and target allocations.
  • Approve some loans and advances (within the approved limit) based on appraisal recommendation.
  • Ensure effective/efficient implementation of bank wide policies with respect to the group operations.
  • Responsible for the recruitment of key staff within the various Hubs in the group, in accordance with the Banks' recruitment policy.
  • To monitor levels of performance of each Hub and identify areas that could be improved and to act in this direction.
  • To assist and provide training for the Group in sales.
  • To organize review sessions to improve communication and share information and ideas in order to maintain a high level of activity.
  • Motivating the various Hubs to achieve the groups' financial targets and KPI
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
  • A First degree in any discipline
  • A Masters degree will be added advantage
  • Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in a bank/financial institution with the last 3 in upper management
  • Membership of CIBM (student, Associate, Honorary)

Job Title: Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking

Job Title: Head, Transaction Banking (Commercial)

Job Description
  • A reputable financial institution is in need of a Head Transaction Banking, which will require he/she to take the lead on managing trade relationships and ensure that the board and management team are kept informed on market opportunities, the business manager will assist the head transaction towards the achievement of our client medium to long term strategic objective of being known as a "Commercial Trade Bank". This objective respect the increasing role of Trade in Global Business and the rationale that trade will continue to be the center point of banking transaction. 
Job Responsibilities
  • Please note the following details as it relates to the role:
  • Drive loan revenue objectives from a products viewpoint I.e. by ensuring that the P&L targets of or loan product are achieved
  • Develop high net worth clients where significant revenue opportunities exist. For most part, this list will correspond with our top 60 clients list but will not exclude the significant opportunities achievable from names outside the list.
  • Work with the various RM's, risk and CBG to ensure that Trade opportunities are converted to bankable assets and revenue streams
  • Drive optimal utilization levels of approved trade facilities at any point in time
  • On a BAU, track the revenue performance of all our commercial clients to ensure complete realization of our trade revenues
  • Ensure that we achieve a trade products pricing approaching that is systematic, risk-differentiated and reflects our client assets/liabilities objectives at any point in time.
  • Ensure that our trade transactions generate wallet-proportionate levels of cross-sell (at a minimum) across clients' cash and FX wallets.
  • Work with FINCON, operations and IT to install an effective MIS system that supports proactive monitoring and realization of all applicable revenues.
  • Obtains and analyses information and work together with business unit managers to provide data that facilitates decision making.work with staff, finance committee, and the board in preparing a budget; see that the organization operates within budget guidelines.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
  • University first degree required: Higher degree (MBA/MSc) desirable but not mandatory
  • 10 years banking experience in adverse functions including business origination, Trade, Cash and SFS products, cross selling and relationship management, sound knowledge of industry and economic matters, strong client and industry contact base

  • A reputable banking institution is in need of a Head Debit cards (Commercial), he/she will ensure customer satisfaction by delivering on promise and growing on card issuance, making sure there is timely card processing based on e-requests platform daily.
Job Responsibilities
  • Please note the following role as it pertains to the duties and responsibilities:
  • Card data generation, management and branch support
  • Card profiling and maintenance of compliant log from customers through branches
  • Manage customer experience requirements, acquisition strategies, servicing and retention
  • Timely review of unified payment services monthly bill for processing and payment
  • Investigation and analysis of transactions on FIMI for effective support of branches
  • Cancellation of cards on ITC and postcard and keeping proper record of all cancelled cards
  • Follow up on customers' requests for card issuance and card renewal with the branches
  • Arrange user training, manuals and guides for all new applications for branch users
  • Visa & MasterCard quarterly performance submission
Other duties and responsibilities
  • Courier management to ensure all shipment get to the branches

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
  • Minimum Bsc Degree in any course, preferable business
  • Should have 7-10 years experience and currently working in the bank
  • Educational and Professional Qualifications required (ICAN, CIBN, etc)
  • Should have been confirmed in his/her current bank grade;
  • Should have spend between 18 months-2 years in the bank grade;
  • Should be between the Assistant Banking Officer, Banking Officer or Senior Banking Officer;
  • Experience in Bank card issuing and acquiring

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
  • Deep familiarity with both Android and iOS platforms; an understanding of common practices, interaction patterns and the strengths and weaknesses of each of the platforms
  • Track record of delivering products, with solid examples of products you have driven, owned and delivered
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience with Banking is not required, but highly valued
