Behaviour Analyst Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

The following common skills and qualifications are required of a Behaviour Analyst:

Master's degree in Psychology, Applied Behaviour Analysis, or similar.
Accreditation as a Behaviour Analyst or suitable equivalent.
Proven experience as a Behaviour Analyst.
Excellent verbal and report writing skills.
Calm, empathic, and patient.
The ability to remain composed and adherent to best practices, even when under duress.
In-depth knowledge of and thorough adherence to applicable ethical codes.
Knowledge of appropriate referral procedures.
