Well, I believe that people obey the law for three major reasons; to avoid legal consequences, because they respect authority, and because they feel that it is morally right to do so. A major reasoning behind why people obey law is that they do not want to face the consequences that come with breaking a law. Obeying the law is generally the easiest way to live in a society peacefully.

Judicial independence is the concept that the judiciary should be independent from the other branches of government. That is, courts should not be subject to improper influence from the other branches of government or from private or partisan interests. Judicial independence is important to the idea of separation of powers.

Habeas corpus is a recourse in law through which a person can report an unlawful detention or imprisonment to a court and request that the court order the custodian of the person, usually a prison official, to bring the prisoner to court, to determine whether the detention is lawful.

When there is a constitution on ground that clearly outlines human rights in a society, abused of such rights would be reduced to the minimum as defaulters will be purnished accordingly.

Civic problems center around global issues such as climate change, pollution, malnourishment & hunger, unemployment lack of education among others.

Individuals, groups, or organizations engage or participate in activities meant to address these issues.
