God's Treasury Cooperative is a growing Cooperative Society recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Register new members. While registering the new members, ensure that new members sign all necessary documents and received all necessary documents, with signature proofs of such. Store new members information in their file as hardcopies and soft copies.
• Update members’ information from time to time, as necessary, both hard and soft copies.
• Reconcile monthly bank statement.
• Receive and store cheques, deposit cheques on due dates. Monitor all account receivable, both electronical mobile deposits and cheques.
• Pay vendors, or schedule bills to be paid. Collect, count, and disburse money for vendors.
• Communicate with members and other individuals that visits the office for information, answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders, and address complaints.
• Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages.
• Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.
• Update data promptly and timely. All data that are not automatically synced will be manually updated. Daily, there must be an up-to-date account, showing the money moving in and out. (Daily balanced sheets)
• Record, review and reconcile transactions. If there be any monies received or spent, reconcile against receipts. This must be done at the end of each day to reconcile accounts in a timely manner. Report expenses and upload receipts as soft copies and hard copies. Record and categorize expenses. Record inventory received

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND qualification with a minimum of 1 year work experience.

Salary
N60,000 - N100,000 monthly.
