Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Objective

Responsibilities

Ensures that costs and revenue are properly captured
Reconciling stock utilization
Preparing budget forecasts
Processing tax payments and returns
Administer and reconcile all bank accounts, investigating any irregularities, and taking appropriate action
Prepares weekly creditors and debtors schedule
Prepares report of daily bank lodgments and bank balances
Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders

Skills / Competencies Requirements

OND in Accounting
Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role
Excellent use of MS Excel, MS Word and general Microsoft skill
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
Account certification is an added advantage
IFRS knowledge is an added advantage
