Beem Farm Foods is a fast-growing food processing and protein brand serving thousands of households across Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (Onsite)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Accountant to take full ownership of our financial records, sales reconciliation, inventory accounting, and financial reporting.
• This role is critical to ensuring that every order is paid for, every product is accounted for, and the company has clear, accurate financial visibility at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Control:

• Reconcile all daily sales from WhatsApp, website, POS, transfers and field sales
• Confirm that every dispatched order has been fully paid for
• Flag underpayments, unpaid orders and discrepancies
• Maintain daily revenue and payment reports

Inventory & Cost Tracking:

• Track all meat, fish and food inventory from processing to sale
• Reconcile physical stock against system stock
• Monitor wastage, losses and variances
• Maintain cost per pack and gross margin by product

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports
• Produce profit & loss statements
• Maintain cashflow and expense tracking
• Support management with financial insights

Tax & Compliance:

• Prepare and file VAT, PAYE and other statutory deductions
• Support audits and compliance requirements

Expenses & Vendor Payments:

• Track all business expenses and verify invoices
• Process and record supplier payments
• Prevent duplicate or unauthorised payments

Payroll & Staff Finance:

• Prepare monthly payroll
• Calculate commissions and bonuses
• Maintain staff payment records

Requirements

• HND / BSc in Accounting, Finance or related fields
• Experience handling sales reconciliation and inventory is highly preferred
• High level of honesty, accuracy and attention to detail.
• 2+ years experience in accounting or finance (FMCG, retail or food production is a plus)
• Ability to use accounting softwares
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills

Salary & Benefits

• Base Salary: N200,000 per month
• Annual Performance Bonus (based on KPIs)
• 13th Month Salary
• Health Insurance (HMO).
