Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and reliable Accountant to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, and supporting overall financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Filing of VAT and WHT monthly with FIRS for the Company.
• Process payroll and ensure tax accuracy and filing.
• Support audits and liaise with auditors when required.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Recommend financial actions by analysing accounting options.
• Assist in preparing the Management Report.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting
• Preparation of invoices.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Minimum of 2–4 years proven experience as an Accountant.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks and Sage)
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Salary
N250,000 - N450,000 Monthly.
