Accountant at Horizontal Tempering Glass (HTG)

Horizontal Tempering Glass (HTG) is a company with a production plant in Ikorodu, Lagos, thatmanufactures architectural and decorative glass. The company is a Nigerian and West African certified glass processing plant that produces various types of processed glass, such as tempered and laminated glass, and is equipped with modern machinery.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

• The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in accounting, proficiency in core accounting software such as QuickBooks, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilties

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Manage and maintain the company's QUICKBOOKS accounting software system, including data entry, reporting, and troubleshooting
• Prepare and submit financial reports to management and relevant stakeholders
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations
• Provide financial guidance and support to management and other departments
• Inventory and stock management.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to management
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or agricultural industry
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• ACA, ACCA, or other relevant professional certifications is an added advantage
• Experience in financial planning and budgeting
• Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulations.
• Proficient in core accounting software, with experience in data entry, reporting, and troubleshooting

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
