Picadailys is a multi-faceted platform that offers various services to its customers. These services include value added services such a bill payments, airtime and data recharge, T.V subscriptions, betting , and gift cards. Picadailys also provides self-services from our partners in the areas of travels and leisure, food and drinks, fitness and entertainment , delivery services and consumables. Additionally, the platform offers brand advertising services including pay per click(PPC), pay per engagement (PPE), pay per action(PPA) and pay per mile (PPM). Picadailys also operates a banking/wallet service that allows users to create virtual accounts, fund wallets, transfer funds, convert currencies, obtain virtual USD cards and prepaid cards.

Job Description

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy accountant to manage and oversee all financial operations of Picadailys.
• The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, maintain proper records, and support the company’s financial planning and growth goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense tracking.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations in compliance with accounting standards.
• Support financial audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for business decisions.
• Collaborate with management to improve internal controls and financial efficiency.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenditures.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure timely postings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards in Nigeria.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• ICAN or relevant professional certification (completed or in progress) is an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant accounting experience (preferably in fintech, tech, or startup environments).
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
