Job Title: Experienced Auditor

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Auditor to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for examining and evaluating financial records, internal controls, and operational processes to ensure accuracy, compliance with applicable laws and standards, and effective risk management.
• The role requires strong analytical skills, integrity, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report on internal and/or external audit assignments in line with approved audit plans.
• Review financial statements, accounting records, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Evaluate internal control systems and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
• Follow up on audit issues to ensure timely implementation of agreed recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Liaise with management and relevant stakeholders during audit engagements.
• Maintain proper audit documentation and working papers.
• Identify areas of non-compliance, fraud risk, or operational weakness and provide practical recommendations.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports, including findings and corrective action plans.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant audit experience (internal or external).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and internal control frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); knowledge of accounting/audit software is an advantage.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
