Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ode-Remo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accountant to join our finance team at the Ode-Remo facility.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting accurate financial reporting to aid informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals
  • Process daily accounting transactions including invoices, payments, and receipts
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PAYE, VAT, WHT, etc.)
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and control
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Monitor expenses, budgets, and cash flow

Requirements & Qualifications

  • HND / BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2–5 years relevant accounting experience
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, onsite environment
  • Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA) will be an added advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of Nigerian accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Sage) and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
