We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Type: 3 Months (with possible extension based on performance)

Position Summary

• We are looking for a skilled Accountant with 3 - 4 years of experience to join our team on a 3-month contract basis.
• The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of setting up effective accounting processes.
• Prior experience in supporting startups will be a strong advantage.
• Due to the nature of the role, proximity to our office location is a key requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including payables, receivables, and payroll.
• Set up or strengthen accounting systems and controls suitable for a growing business.
• Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and reports.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and compliance with statutory/tax obligations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Must live within close proximity to the office (Ikeja, Lagos State).
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• 3 - 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Prior experience working with startups or setting up accounting processes is highly desirable.

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 / Month.
