Brand Manager - Remote at Releaf Earth (YC W19)

Releaf Earth (YC W19) is pioneering Biochar Carbon Removal (BCR) technology using palm kernel shells to remove carbon from the atmosphere. We empower rural African communities while improving agricultural productivity and contributing to Net Zero Emissions. We believe in using technology to fight climate change.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Brand Manager

Location: Nigeria (Remote/Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Positioning:

• Develop and implement a clear brand strategy that aligns with Releaf’s vision and values.
• Manage the rebranding process to reflect the transition to a biochar and carbon credit focus.

Campaign Management & Marketing:

• Create and execute marketing campaigns that build awareness and engagement across platforms.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of digital campaigns, social media, and email marketing.

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships:

• Foster relationships with industry partners, climate organizations, and relevant influencers.
• Lead collaborations with farmers and other key stakeholders for impactful storytelling.

Market Research & Insights:

• Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and competitors.
• Use insights to refine brand messaging and identify new growth opportunities.

Content & Creative Direction:

• Work closely with content creators, designers, and agencies to develop compelling brand narratives.
• Ensure all communications and visuals are aligned with brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience working with digital tools, including social media platforms, analytics tools, and marketing automation software.
• 3-5 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or communications.
• Proven track record of building and scaling brands, ideally in the climate, agriculture, or sustainability sector.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the climate adaptation or agricultural sectors.
• Familiarity with carbon credits or environmental certifications.
• Knowledge of graphic design or content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).
