Job Title: Global Lead - HSE Performance

Job Description

  • We are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Global Lead, HSE Performance.
  • The Global Lead HSE Performance shall report to the Senior Manager, Occupational and Environmental Safety. This position is responsible for supporting the sustained HSE performance across Bristow Group with a focus on data analysis and metrics, as well as the development of reports to Senior Management and Board of Directors. This position shall also lead continuous improvement initiatives to support Bristow Groups Target Zero safety culture. Oversight, support and training on global HSE processes and systems are key functions that fall under this role. This position shall ensure the adequacy of containment and risk mitigation strategies for recordable and significant occupational and environmental events.
  • The position can based in any of the Bristow locations listed.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the development and execution of the Bristow Group policies and processes for effective safety reporting, risk management and tracking, emergency response and environmental management.
  • Supports the updating of global HSE publications and policies to ensure it remains current and fit for purpose.
  • Tracks global performance indicators related to AOC HSE Safety performance and top risks.
  • Compiles and distributes regular (i.e., monthly, quarterly, annual) safety performance reports for management, Safety Assurance Committee, and Board of Directors.
  • Develops HSE training materials (video/PowerPoint) to be adopted by the global business.
  • Supports the conduct of periodic external audits (e.g., OEMs Suppliers)
  • Remain current on applicable regulations, certifications and best practices to provide SME technical knowledge.

Qualification Standards

  • Formal Degree or Certification in HSE
  • Significant safety experience (preferably within the aviation industry)
  • Internal Auditor qualified
  • Practitioner knowledge on aviation SMS, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
  • Working knowledge of regulatory standards for HSE

  • Practitioner knowledge of applicable HSE standards, safety regulations, protocols, and procedures
  • Proven ability to manage a reporting, investigation and event management process
  • Proven experience working as a leading member of a project
  • Ability to author HSE technical documentation and processes
  • Proven ability to perform data analytics
  • Proven ability to produce reports to Senior Management
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate the activities of professionals with a wide array of technical backgrounds
