Job Overview

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and identifying new market opportunities in the waste management sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement growth strategies to increase market share and company profitability
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking events to promote the company and forge new relationships.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in waste management and related sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and business opportunities.
• Prepare and present business proposals and presentations to potential clients and partners.
• Collaborate with the management team to set goals and develop business plans.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven track record of achieving business growth and meeting sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, preferably in the waste management or environmental services industry.
• Strong understanding of the waste management market and regulatory environment in Nigeria.
