Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chartered Accountant

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Type: Permanent/Full-time

Job Description

• The Chartered Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective management of the company’s assets and liabilities.
• The role supports the Deputy CFO in maintaining the integrity of financial records, preparing management reports, and ensuring timely capitalization, amortization, and reconciliation of accounts in line with company policy and IFRS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent certification required
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Dynamix AX
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in accounting, preferably in oil & gas, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax regulations
