Job Title: Chemical Engineer

Location: Magodo, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a talented Chemical Engineer to join our team at Biofil Technologies Nigeria Limited. As a Chemical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative environmental management and renewable energy solutions.
  • You will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing chemical processes to ensure efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analyze data to develop and optimize chemical processes for environmental management and renewable energy projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed projects.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in chemical engineering.
  • Design, develop, and evaluate equipment and systems for chemical processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all chemical engineering activities.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot chemical processes to identify and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-4 years experience as a Chemical Engineer or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of chemical engineering principles, processes, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with environmental management practices and renewable energy technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software and engineering tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • Professional certification in Chemical Engineering (e.g., registered engineer) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field is a plus.
