We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Chief Security Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates security operations to prevent security breaches and ensure asset protection.
  • Develops and implements safety protocols and ensures employees and visitors abide by safety policies and procedures.
  • Manages internal and external security personnel.
  • Conducts regular patrols and security inspections throughout the facility.
  • Checks the register at assigned points and assesses the CCTV report daily.
  • Monitors activities at the finished goods warehouse, factory, and access points, ensuring zero security breach in activities with items going in orcomingout.
  • Reports toHHRon security activities and makes recommendations to improve security measures of the organisation.
  • Works with thehuman resourcedepartment to recruit and train the best talent in building up the security of an organisation.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of safety and security programs.
  • Conducts security audits periodically.
  • Ensures all unused parts of the premises are well secured.
  • Maintains a close relationship with the Nigerian police force and other law enforcement bodies.
  • Contributes to the formulation and review of the organisational crisis management plan.
  • Safeguards the keys to all access points in BPN.
  • Manages the budget of the security unit.
  • Performs regular security risk assessment.
  • Takes proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment to staff and visitors.
  • Provides specialised security for and monitors access to limited and restricted access areas such as inventory areas, network equipment areas, employee files, and confidential records rooms.
  • Handles fraud-related cases.
  • Trains direct reports on security practices and protocols.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 7 - 15 years experience.
