Job Title: Chief Security Officer

Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos

Job Summary

  • A Chief Security Officer would ensure full compliance with security procedures across the group, with functional and in-depth knowledge of managing safety and security protocols.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor compliance with standard operating procedures for security management.
  • Ensure proper security orientation/weekly parade and briefing of internal and external security.
  • Implement and monitor a process to reduce property and financial loss.
  • Monitor the state of the physical security system, such as CCTV, Alarm, or Locks.
  • Assist in emergency management and contingency planning, and planning of special security high-risk events.
  • Write and review security-related documents, i.e, incident report.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of all incidents or offences.
  • Ensure proactive measures are in place for the protection of merchandise, assets, and property.
  • Evaluate suspected security breaches and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate and liaise with the duties of the security unit and the 3rd-party security team.
  • Investigate suspected or reported internal or external theft incidents.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to report or investigate crimes committed on company premises.
  • Conduct periodical security audit and advise management respectively.
  • Coordinate with other units and the HOD in resolving operational issues.
  • Coordinate proper response to critical incidents and civil disorders.
  • Develop budgets for security operations and follow up with requests for security-related equipment.

Requirements

  • The CSO must be a retired Army or Navy Officer.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
