Job Title: Copywriter

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Brief

Writing clear and error-free content for website that reflects the company’s voice
Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team — and to client representative when requested — and participate occasionally in client pitches
Revise copy based on internal and client feedback.
Research and understand a client’s needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject-matter experts, and in-person meeting.
Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials
Collaborate with a team of account managers and creative staff, from concept development to delivery of final product

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Communication or Marketing
Proximity to VI is a must (should either stay on the island or close to TMB).
Experience producing copy for print and digital media.
Proven success in producing copy for advertising or marketing campaign.
Exceptional skill in social media writing, including use of hashtags and relevant acronyms.
Experience with SEO concepts and social media marketing.
