Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Media Consultant to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective media strategies, managing media relations, creating compelling content, and enhancing the organization’s visibility across digital and traditional media platforms.
• The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the media landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive media and communication strategies.
• Plan and coordinate media events, interviews, and podcasts.
• Monitor media coverage, analyze performance metrics, and prepare periodic reports.
• Provide strategic guidance on brand positioning, crisis communication, and reputation management.
• Create and edit content for websites, social media platforms, publications, and marketing materials.
• Manage digital and social media campaigns to boost engagement and brand awareness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Creative, proactive, and highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Provides legal guidance, advise and legal opinions in all its transactions with third parties, government institutions and regulators.
• Minimum of 3–7 years proven experience in media consulting, PR, or communications.
• Strong writing, voice and video editing and storytelling abilities.
• Excellent networking and media relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in digital media tools, analytics, and social media management.
