Overall Responsibility

• As a Finacle Developer within our Systems Development and Integrations team, he/she will be at the forefront of enhancing our banking technology landscape.
• The primary responsibility will be to develop, customize, and maintain solutions within the Finacle ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration, improved functionality, and optimized performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system requirements for customizations and new applications within the Finacle environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software functionality, performance, and integration, providing timely support to address operational concerns.
• Collaborate with QA teams to conduct thorough testing of software components, ensuring high standards of quality and reliability.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in banking technology, Finacle updates, and software development to propose innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions that align with business needs, utilizing a variety of technologies including Unix, Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, SQL, HTML, Java, JSP, and JS.
• Design and implement system integrations between Finacle and other applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platforms.
• Lead the development and maintenance of customizations within the Finacle framework to enhance its capabilities and meet specific business requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation for developed solutions, including technical specifications, design documents, and user guides.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's Degree is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Self-motivated and adaptable, with a strong drive to learn and implement new technologies and methodologies.
• Professional certifications related to software development, Oracle, or banking systems will be a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on banking systems and Finacle customization.
• Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and hands-on experience with Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, and SQL for database development.
• Proficiency in web technologies including HTML, Java, JSP, and JavaScript, with the ability to develop user-friendly web interfaces.
• Prior experience in integrating and customizing Finacle, coupled with a solid understanding of core banking processes and workflows.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects on time and in adherence to quality standards.
