We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical Construction Supervisor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Plans, Co-ordinate and directs the construction work and construction subcontractor to meet all construction milestone dates.
• Responsible for supervising construction activities and trade and field personnel related to the discipline
• Implements the construction plan to ensure the efficiency, quality, safety and performance of construction to meet project objectives.
• Provide field supervision and progress reports all electrical projects.
• Interface with construction and operations team leads, Engineering and construction contractors.
• Ensure that all electrical construction works is carried out in accordance with Permit to work procedure, projects drawings, projects priorities and Identify and correct any deviations.
• Responsible for planning, coordinating and organizing the activities of workers involved in construction projects.
• Responsible for construction activities through the contractor’s supervision in respect of HSE method, working practices, quality and timely execution of the works.
• Attending daily tool box and STARRT Meeting with contractor’s workers.
• Attending IIF (Incident Injury Free) Walk down with Clients Safety Personnel
• Supervise HT, LT, Control and FO cable laying works up to 132KV (1000 mm2) with End
• termination ant straight through joints.
• Electrical equipments installation works such as power transformers, HT, LT Panels board, battery chargers, UPS panel, Battery Bank, DCS cabinets etc.
• Supervision of Cathodic Protection of Bottom External Plates of Tanks
• Ensuring that the quality of work is carried out complies with HSE Standards.
• Ensuring all activities carried out by the contractors are incompliance with Permit to
• Work(PTW) Systems
• Co-ordinate and supervise the construction and pre-commissioning activities of projects.
• Ensuring the scope of works is achieved in accordance with contract requirement and timeframe and incompliance with specification and standards established.
• Coordinate with civil personnel to excavate buried electrical cable trench and backfilling works.

Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, Wide on site electrical engineering experience
• Having good knowledge of electrical engineering principles and concepts
• Experienced in Major Onshore Brownfield Project Management Assignments.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Electrical construction and Pre-commissioning field in oil and gas sector with reputed Clients.
