Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Description

• The Electrical Engineer will oversee installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems and machinery in our recycling operations.
• This role requires expertise in recycling and production processes to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of our production facilities.
• Also entails facilities maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment like Forklift, vehicles, Generators, Company Transformer (for Electrical Engineer)
• Ensure machinery operates efficiently, and safely, and complies with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan on vertical and horizontal baler machines
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Provide technical support to all departments for electrical apparatus and others.

Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering within the recycling industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery used in recycling industry
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using maintenance management softwareandtools.Method of Application.
