We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical Fitter

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description

• The job role is to ensure coordination of installation, repair, and maintenance of sub-station equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure all new substation equipment installations are carried out according to manufacturer standards.
• Ensure electrical power equipment meets/complies with the standard specified requirement.
• Prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare Requests for Procurement (RFP) for fast-moving parts of substation equipment.
• Ensure all reported faulty HV breakers are repaired urgently.
• Ensure all reported cable faults are urgently attended to.
• Ensure planned, predictive and preventive maintenance of all substation Equipment.
• Keep records of planned and emergency maintenance in the injection sub-station.
• Ensure proper earthing of all electrical equipment in all injection sub-station.
• Perform other sundry assignments as directed by Technical Engineer.

Job Requirements

• Technical Certificate in Electrical Installations & Maintenance or its equivalents (i.e. National Diploma, Trade Test, NABTEB, NAPTIN).
• Relevant professional certification or qualification would be an added advantage.
• At least 2+ years of varied experience in Electrical Electronic / Mechanical Engineering
