The License enables EMTS provide Fixed Telephony (wired or wireless), Digital Mobile Services, International Gateway Services and National/Regional Long Distance Services in addition to spectrum assignments in the 900 and 1800 MHz bands.

Job Title: Specialist, Animator (Visual Effects & Audio Production)

Location: Lagos,NG

Job Summary

  • To create computer-generated animations and special effects on screens of digital devices.
  • To enhance the video content and visual effects to the works of the Motion Graphics artist and Videographer.
  • Create imagery that is either impractical or impossible to film can only done as CGI using computerized technology, including, but not limited to, animations, fixing up details for videos/grading, commercials, product information videos, and other multimedia materials.

Principal Functions
Operational:

  • Creating visual effects and animations using computerized technology and software applications.
  • Realizing and creating CGI characters.
  • Producing visuals for social media, video games and mobile applications.
  • Creating simulations and mockups to be viewed based on briefs by Marcomms Head
  • Troubleshooting any issues with animations and enhance the productions of the Motion Graphics designer and Videographer during postproduction
  • Creating storyboards to understand the images needed for the storyline and where the images should be used.
  • Adhering to tight deadlines and other constraints in order to meet production times.
  • Following product and brand guideline and instructions.
  • Brainstorming with artists and designers externally to discuss digital animation concepts, gaming ideas, and progress on current projects.
  • Supervises the day-to-day activities of the audio-visual contents on our digital platforms and reports to the Head Marketing Communications
  • Assist pre-production planning and on-site production activities
  • Deliver high quality product on time and within the resources available
  • Identify best practices for video and evolve daily operations as necessary
  • Oversee video collection to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained
  • Responsible for coordinating resources and the budget.
  • Other responsibilities include completing software upgrades, developing methods to improve on deliverables and quality of content created by the audio-visual team

Educational Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience (must include experience in a video production environment)
  • A sizeable portfolio of VFX contents
  • Experience with live streaming is a plus
  • Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills
  • BS degree in film studies, Creative Art, cinematography or related field will be an advantage

  • Strong working knowledge of software tools, including Houdini, Unity, Dreamweaver, Adobe CS5, and Autodesk Maya.

Job Title: Specialist, Graphic Designer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary        

  • Creation of visual concepts, using computer-based software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers.
  • Develop the overall layout and production designs for communications such as advertisements, brochures, magazines, reports, finished artwork for merchandising and branding items, social media contents and other BTL creatives etc.
  • Active in the entire process of visualizing, and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts photos and the visual aspects of websites

Principal Functions
Operational:

  • Conceptualize visuals based onrequirements
  • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas in sketches for review
  • Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
  • Use the appropriate colors, typography and layouts for each graphic
  • Test graphic designs across various media
  • Amend designs after feedback
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
  • Assist in the development of communication designs aimed at projecting and promoting EMTS's service offerings for all stakeholders

Educational Requirements        

  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus    
  • Minimum of four (4) years post NYSC work experience.
  • Experience must include time in a creative agency or on a similar job as a designer
  • Experience in creating social media content will be an advantage.
  • Proven graphic designing experience
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details

Job Title: Specialist, Videographer (Digital Production)

Job Summary

  • To work with Marcomms team to plan, film and edit in-house video contents for all digital platforms according to briefs and scripts from Marcomms Head.
  • Responsibilities include ensuring that the necessary filming equipment is available for use, assisting in directing other camera operators on set and editing film footage.
  • Should stay up to date with industry trends and tools that will make video contents more marketable.

Principal Functions  
Operational:

  • Plan production for in-house video contents and source the appropriate equipment for execution, including line production documents, treatments, schedule, location, props and gear.
  • Assist the external production house in planning and directing on set
  • Ensure that equipment for a shoot is present and working.
  • Plan the shoot with the creative team and user group
  • Edit footage in post-production
  • Direct other camera operators so that the needed footage is acquired.
  • Roll tape using digital devices available for in-house productions for our digital platforms
  • Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
  • Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
  • Create rough and final cuts

Job Title: Specialist, Content Creator (Motion Graphics)

  • Create motion graphics and animation forthe website, YouTube channel and social media handles
  • Use visual effects, animation and othercinematic techniques to animate static designs, scripts and product information.

Principal Functions        
Operational:

  • Identifying, determining, and drawing the characters he/she will use in his/her animation project.
  • Modelling the characters with the use of animation software such as Blender, Maya 3Ds Max, or several other animation or game engines.
  • Developing animation concepts and requirement as agreed with head, marketing communications, creating artwork and sketches, utilizing animation software tools, and providing support to the marketing communication units and the business at large.
