Job Title: IT / Support Officer 

Location: Opebi, Ikeja

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The IT/Support Officer will be responsible for providing technical support to staff, managing basic system and network operations, and ensuring smooth functioning of the organization’s IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, email, internet, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues promptly and professionally.
  • Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, software, and IT peripherals.
  • Set up new user accounts, email addresses, and access permissions.
  • Monitor network connectivity and escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical team.
  • Assist in managing servers, backups, antivirus systems, and routine system updates.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, support tickets, and system configurations.
  • Ensure adherence to IT policies, data security guidelines, and best practices.
  • Support office equipment setup for meetings, trainings, and events.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers when necessary.
  • Conduct periodic maintenance of IT equipment and provide basic cybersecurity awareness to staff.

Qualifications

  • ⁠B.Sc. In computer science, or related field.
  • ⁠1–5 years of experience in IT Support.
