Executive Assistant to the Chief Technical & Information Officer at 9mobile Nigeria

9mobile is a Nigerian private limited liability company. EMTS acquired a Unified Access Service License from the Nigerian Communications Commission in 2007. The License enables EMTS provide Fixed Telephony (wired or wireless), Digital Mobile Services, International Gateway Services and National/Regional Long Distance Services in addition to spectrum assignments in the 900 and 1800 MHz bands.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Executive Assistant to the Chief Technical & Information Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• Coordinates the CTIO office and schedule by providing organizational, administrative, and logistical support efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Owns and runs the diary and calendar of the CTIO, independently identifies, priorities and organizes all meetings and obligations from diary coordination of involved parties to arranging logistics and conferencing.
• Determines and understands priorities from requests being placed and from CTIO, translates these priorities into an appropriate sequence and schedule of the calendar
• Actively follows up actions being placed from CTIO to team members and ensures their responses and presentation back to CTIO
• Arranges and takes minutes at departmental meetings
• Acts as first line support to visitors, both local and international
• Ensures a high standard office practice/management
• Maintains a good record system and ensures a seamless flow of information from the CTIO’s office to other staff
• Plan and organize departmental events
• Independently organizes business travel including flights, accommodation, drivers, security as well as meeting coordination for all involved parties and travel logistics in case of distributed sites
• Review of emails to CTIO and active pick up of routine requests and their execution and resolution
• Coordination of all administrative acts and procedures including memos, approval papers and signatures

Education & Experience

• A good Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Technical subjects.
• Strong organizational, communication and multitasking skills
• Proven experience in Telecommunications
• Proven experience in executive / administrative support
• Minimum of 3-year post NYSC experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office such as outlook, excels, word and power point.
