We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Executive & Technical Assistant to the MD

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time, Executive Staff
Reports To: Managing Director

Job Summary

• The Executive & Technical Assistant will provide high-level executive, analytical, and project support to the Managing Director.
• This role combines executive administration, data analysis, business intelligence, and strategic project coordination.
• The ideal candidate must be highly organized, analytically strong, and able to function as the MD’s right hand, supporting decision-making across trading, processing, operations, and corporate activities.

Key Responsibilities
Executive Support & Administration:

• Manage the MD’s calendar, schedules, meetings, and travel logistics.
• Prepare materials for board meetings, investor engagements, and strategy sessions.
• Draft, review, and edit emails, reports, and high-level correspondence.
• Act as the primary liaison between the MD and internal/external stakeholders.

Technical Analysis & Data Management:

• Develop and maintain financial and operational models using advanced Excel tools (Power Query, pivot tables, automation, data visualization).
• Consolidate and analyze commodity prices, supply chain metrics, and production data.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity across all data, dashboards, and performance reports.

Project Management Support:

• Support the MD in planning and monitoring major business initiatives.
• Coordinate deliverables across departments to ensure deadlines are met.
• Track project milestones, prepare updates, and assist with documentation and SOP development.

Special Projects & Analytical Problem-Solving:

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis within the agri-commodity sector.
• Evaluate new business opportunities, investment prospects, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Handle open-ended analytical tasks and provide structured recommendations.

Presentation & Reporting:

• Create high-quality executive-level presentations for strategy, fundraising, and internal reviews.
• Produce periodic and ad-hoc reports on market trends, business performance, and project outcomes.
• Convert complex data points into clear business insights and visual reports.

Qualifications & Requirements
Essential (Must-Have):

• B.Sc. / B.A. in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Finance, IT, or a related field.
• Exceptional communication, writing, and organizational skills.
• High level of discretion, professionalism, and reliability.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and anticipate the MD’s needs.
• 3–5 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong analytical ability; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
• Excellent PowerPoint/Google Slides presentation skills.

Highly Desirable (Nice-to-Have):

• Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
• Experience in commodity trading, agribusiness, manufacturing, or FMCG.
• Familiarity with ERP, BI tools (Power BI/Tableau), or data-driven systems.
