Job Title: Financial Accountant

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• We are looking for a passionate Accountant. The successful candidate will assist with the reconciliation of transactions, auditing accounts, updating financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed, preparing and submitting weekly/monthly reports

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform reconciliations and auditing
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements
• Adhere to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Develop KPIs
• Measure KPIs and prepare reports
• As needed, assist with other accounting projects
• Assist other departments, such as HR and Marketing, with reviewing expenses
• Update financial data in a timely manner
• Ensure that information is accurate
• React in a timely manner if the information is not accurate

Requirements

• Experience as an Accountant
• Analytical mind
• Excellent understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Critical thinker
• Love for numbers
