Job Title: Health Program Assistant - Female

Location: Sango Ota, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are seeking a Health Program Assistant with a strong understanding of health program implementation, community engagement, awareness campaign, advocacy, and health policy.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with a focus on sexual and reproductive health.
  • Proficiency in ICT tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with graphic design software such as Canva or Corel Draw etc, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and implementation of health programs focused on sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence prevention, and community sensitization.
  • Support stakeholder engagement and collaboration with partners and government agencies for health policy advocacy initiatives.
  • Provide support in operational activities, including managing communications and social media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure program objectives are met effectively.
  • Assist in project monitoring, data collection, and reporting, with a focus on influencing health policies.
  • Conduct community outreach activities and facilitate health education sessions.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Public Health, Nursing, Community Development, or Related Fields.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in health program implementation, community engagement, community awareness, and health policy advocacy.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in health policy advocacy.
  • Residency in Sango Ota, Ogun State, and it environs, or willingness to relocate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Corel Draw, etc.).
