Nigachem Nigeria Limited is a manufacturing company, incorporated in 1987 as a private company with Certificate of Incorporation No. 97718. The Company Memorandum and Articles of Association and subsequent licences permit the Company to engage in Importation, marketing and sales of Commercial or Civil Explosives and related products like Ammonium Nitrate, Detonating Cord, Electric Detonators, Non-Electric Detonators (Nonel), etc. We manufacture Emulsion type of Explosives and our brand is called Superpower. The emulsion type of Explosives is very safe, unlike other types because they only detonate upon introduction of a suitable initiation stimulus.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HOD - Engineering

Location: Abeokuta, Ogun

Requirements

• HND or Bsc in Engineering (Graduate Engineer in Electrical & Instrumentation would be preferred)
• A minimum of 7 years experience, with 3 years experience in a managerial position in a manufacturing or technical environment experience is required.
• The ideal candidate must not be less than 35 years old.
• Experience in plant/maintenance operations.
• Good troubleshooting skill on the electrical panel and use of circuit diagram, schematic diagrams and installation manuals.
• Coordination of technicians and operators to comply with HACCP, Environmental, Quality, Safety and Health Standard.
• Maintenance Planning and Execution of process equipment
• Training of technician and operators on process equipment.
• He must be good in electrical and mechanical systems with electronics, and instrumentations as a special focus in manufacturing operations.
• Working knowledge of process equipment, Roto/Netzsch pumps, boilers and air compressors is required.
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of electrical systems, electrochemical machines, automation of the process through PLC, Hydraulic systems, and automobiles.
• Operations and maintenance of utility equipment and technical support to packaging and production (Filler, pasteurizer, conveyor, coding machine).

Salary
N350,000 monthly, Gross.
