African Pits & Quarries Limited (APQ) is one of the industry leaders in mining and mining support services in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HSE Inspector

Location: Enugu

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections of mining sites, equipment, and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies during audits and inspections.
• Identify and assess risks, hazards, and unsafe practices, recommending corrective actions.
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, providing detailed reports and solutions.
• Organize safety training programs and drills for employees.

Requirements

• HND / B.Sc in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in safety management or inspection roles, preferably in the mining or industrial sector.

Salary
N150,000 monthly.
