The Field of Diamond Limited is a solid minerals mining company duly registered with The Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development, specializing in the extraction of Barite, Lead and Zinc ore.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HSE Manager

Location: Obubra, Cross River
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Manager to lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of health, safety, and environmental policies at our mining site. 
• The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and promote a safety-first culture across all levels of operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and systems tailored to mining operations.
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and site inspections to identify and address hazards.
• Monitor environmental impact and ensure adherence to environmental standards and permits.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with national mining and environmental laws.
• Prepare HSE reports, performance metrics, and improvement plans for management review.
• Promote continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental sustainability.
• Lead incident investigations and ensure timely reporting, documentation, and corrective action implementation.
• Train and supervise staff on HSE practices, emergency response, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certification in HSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, ISPON, OSHA) is required.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills.
• Ability to work in remote field locations and under high-risk conditions
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HSE management, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian HSE regulations, mining safety standards, and environmental compliance.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 per month.
