Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Location: Rivers

Responsibilities

  • Implement Human Resources Strategy on talent acquisition, staffing, compensation, welfare, employee development, succession planning, etc. to ensure the availability of required capabilities to deliver the business priorities.
  • Develops and implement a departmental budget
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR team by overseeing talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development, performance management, compensation, employee relations, discipline, HR services, processes, systems, and practices to ensure adherence to internal policies and legal standards.
  • Responsible for ensuring that business values are clearly communicated and understood at all levels of the business
  • Develop and manage the departmental budget and resource allocation
  • Benchmark internal and external environment and use the insight gained to propose policy changes and initiate HR interventions.
  • Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Ensure managers and coordinators are sufficiently skilled and enabled to access appropriate guidance and information to manage workforce issues by facilitating professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff.
  • Regularly coach, mentor and support senior and high-potential colleagues to identify individual strengths and development needs, develop and maintain effective relationships and encourage retention.
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits globally. 
  • Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues.
  • Drive cultural change initiatives to ensure workforce alignment, engagement, and retention
  • Build robust Human Resources organization, HRIS, processes, and infrastructure (ERP) to support business strategy and goal
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure compliance.
  • Establish proper corporate and departmental organogram to drive the smooth flow of operation and support achievement of the business objectives
  • Provide expert HR advisory to management, line managers and employees
  • Design and implement solution-based compensation and benefits policies and structure that are cost effective and competitive and advances the business strategy
  • In consultation with operations team, ensure smooth operations through collaborative efforts in identifying and dealing with HR issues.
  • Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company’s mission and strategic vision.
